Role Playing Games

For role-playing games ("RPG"), synDCon^SM will offer both "living campaigns" and “one-shots.” 

Living Campaigns/Organized Play 

Living campaigns/Organized Play are those in which players from all over the country or world play adventures approved by the campaign's governing body.  Everyone's game play of one adventure affects how the next adventure will be written.  Living campaigns have set rules for character creation, so if you intend on playing in a living campaign/organized play, make sure you come prepared with a legal character. Otherwise, you may find yourself unable to play for the game for which you preregistered.  We've placed a link to the website for each campaign listed below.

Established Game Systems 

This doesn't mean that you won't be able to play your favorite games without the constraints of a living campaign. We’re offering tables of World of Darkness (Classic), GURPS, Dungeons & Dragons version 3.5, Call of Cthulhu d20, Eclipse Phase, Mutants and Masterminds, Star Wars Saga Edition, and Tales from the Floating Vagabond. 

synDClash^SM 

synDClash is the regional competition, pitting residents of Maryland and DC against residents of Virginia for the year’s bragging rights.  This year, synDClash will be based on the Dungeon Delve, which is based on Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition.
